When you first open the app, we'll walk you through a quick setup so we can tailor your experience and show you the most relevant roles:
Answer a few quick questions
Tell us about your career goals, experience level, and the types of roles you're interested in.
Unlock the app
After setup, you'll be prompted to either:
🔓 Click Get Started to Start a subscription and access Sprout's features

🤝 Invite 3 friends to unlock the app for free
Once complete, you'll land on the Jobs tab — where your job search begins

To control the roles you see, you can update two key settings on the Jobs page:
🔍 Job Title + Location (Found at the top-center of the Jobs screen.)
Tap this section to set:💼 The kind of role you're looking for (e.g., "UX Designer")
📍 Your preferred city or country (e.g., "Toronto" or "United States")
⚙️ Filters (Found at the top-right corner of the Jobs screen)
Tap the Filter icon in the top-right corner to narrow your results by:
🧠 Experience Level (Entry, Mid, Senior, etc.)
⏱️ Job Type (Full-time, Part-time, Internship)
💰 Minimum Salary
📍 Location Type (Remote, In-Person, Hybrid)
🕒 Posted Date (Past 24 hours, Past Week, Past Month)
✅ Tip: Start with broad filters to see more roles. You can always narrow them later once you get a sense of what's out there.
✅ Tip: Toggle "Include unknown location type" on when searching for remote roles, this can help surface additional job opportunities.

When you find a job you like, you can swipe:
⬅️ Left to skip it
➡️ Right to apply using Sprout
When you swipe right, Sprout will generate:
📄 A tailored cover letter based on your background and the job description
📝 If you haven't uploaded a resume yet, you'll be prompted to do so before completing your application.
Some applications use 1 credit, while others use 3 credits, depending on the role and complexity.
⚡ You'll always see how many credits a job requires before applying — it's shown as a number next to the lightning bolt icon on each listing.

You can manage, change, or cancel your subscription anytime from the "Settings" in the app. If you need help, just reply here.
