When you apply through Sprout, we send your application from a dedicated address rather than your everyday one. This lets us track updates and get them to you as they arrive.

💡 Every message is also recorded in the app under Applications → the job → Inbox, so you can always go back and find it.
📎 What if I need to send an attachment?
Attachments work normally in both directions.
If an employer sends you a file, it arrives with their message
If you attach a file to your reply, it reaches the employer with your message
🔒 Why not use my real email?
Applying from a dedicated address lets us:
Track job updates and responses across all your applications
Handle account creation and verification steps during the application
Keep a complete record of each conversation in the app
Depending on whether you've connected Gmail, that address is either an alias of your own ([email protected]) or a unique @whisperpost.io address. Both behave identically — see Why is the email on my job applications not my personal email?
