📄 Trouble Uploading Your Resume?

Fixes for the most common resume upload problems, including file format and size issues.

If you're having issues uploading your resume, here are the most common causes — and how to fix them.

✅ Make sure it's a PDF

Sprout only accepts resumes in PDF format. If you're trying to upload a Word doc, Google Doc, Pages file, or a screenshot, it won’t go through.

To fix this:

  • Open your resume in your document editor (e.g. Word, Google Docs)

  • Choose File → Download as PDF

  • Then upload that version into the app

🔄 Still not working?

If you’re using a valid PDF and it’s still not working, try these steps:

  • Fully close and restart the app

  • Make sure you're on the latest version

  • Try uploading the file from a different device
