Why did I run out of application credits even though I only applied to a few jobs?

Explains why application credits may run out faster than expected, especially when swiping on Workday or 3-credit jobs.

❓ Why did I run out of application credits after applying to just a few jobs?

You might notice that your credits run out faster than expected—even if you've only applied to a small number of jobs. This usually happens when some jobs use more than 1 credit.

🧠 Why do some jobs cost more than 1 credit?

Some applications—especially ones hosted on platforms like Workday—require significantly more time and system resources for us to complete. These jobs often involve:

  • Creating an account on your behalf

  • Navigating CAPTCHAs and multi-step forms

  • Filling out detailed application fields

  • Dealing with redirects and slow-loading sites

To reflect this extra effort, these jobs cost 3 credits instead of 1.

👀 How can I tell how many credits a job will use?

We show the credit cost in the top-right corner of each job card before you swipe. Most jobs are 1 credit, but more complex ones (like Workday) are clearly labeled with a 3⚡ badge.

Here’s an example of how it appears:

✅ What can I do if I run out?

You have a few options:

  • Upgrade your plan to unlock more weekly applications

  • Wait for your credits to reset (every 7 days)

  • Swipe only on 1-credit jobs to stretch your usage
